Flow-Volume Loop. Positive values represent expiration, negative values represent inspiration. The trace moves clockwise for expiration followed by inspiration. (Note the FEV1, FEVA1/2 and FEV3 values are arbitrary in this graph and just shown for illustrative purposes, they must be recorded as part of the experiment).File:Cardiacfunctioncurve.pngSingle cardiac function curveFile:Cardiacfunctionfamily.pngGraph of a family of cardiac function curve at various heart rates. As the demand for cardiac output increases, the heart rate increases and the curve shifts upwards along the red line. This prevents the right atrial pressure needing to increase.File:Gibraltar-flags-national-pride.jpgThe somewhat disputed status of Gibraltar gives its inhabitants a great deal of national pride. This can be seen in these flags hanging from a building in the tercentenary celebrations of the cessionMechanism of glucose dependent insulin releaseDiagram summarising control of stomach acid secretion, emphasising interaction between the body and antrum.
Heart cut away showing Bundle of His Schematic representation of the atrioventricular bundle of His. The bundle, represented in red, originates near the orifice of the coronary sinus, undergoes slight enlargement to form the AV node. The AV node tapers down into the bundle of HIS, which passes into the ventricular septum and divides into two bundle branches, the left and right bundles. The ultimate distribution cannot be completely shown in this diagram.
